Outline Of The Case Study One of the reputed airline industries CEO Munoz received an Oscar in the year 2017 and was given a title of U.S. Communicator of the Year by PR weekly magazine for which the company acknowledged immense reputation. Unfortunately the incident which happened one month later caused crash of $ 1 billion in value and was recorded as a worst PR disaster in airline industry(Netimperative, 2017). The misbehaviour of companys staff with an airline passenger Dr David Dao positioned whole airline industry in the microscope. The incident took place on 9th April 2017 where security officers hauled one of their paying passengers Dr David Dao off the flight that was scheduled from Chicago to Louisville in Kentucky. Dr Dao was so traumatised that he had to be admitted to the hospital. Other passenger showed responsibility and recorded the entire incident through their Smartphones to expose the bad behaviour of flight attendants. Dr Dao was forcibly pulled down the aircraft aisle along with his wife and children by security representative for overbooking his reservation. Instead of apologising for the injuries of Dr Dao caused due to misconduct of United Airlines staff, the CEO apologised only for the getting him re-accommodated with another passenger. The excellence theory describes the role of communicators and management functions in performing their PR responsibly. Grunig have given more stress on optimising public relation model as two way symmetrical models that performs function of two way balanced communications to administer conflicts while improving indulgence with public(DeGroot, 2015). In strategic management practises, good relationships among organisations develops the power of achieving desired goals by both public and managements. By applying agenda theory in their PR practice, the company could have stopped media making exaggerated reports of the incident. Also United Airlines could have made immediate press conference in which PR executors or the CEO himself have made apologies(Phelps, 2017). The ghost meant unfortunate children like these are the responsibility of everyone. Their names were ignorance and want because they were a result of ignorant people and people who only wanted for themselves. In today's world many children also live in poverty. However there are many more organizations to help them and their families and to prevent them having to live on the streets. Such an example of an organization would be welfare. Welfare helps people by giving supplying food stamps and money to the less fortunate. Another caring organization would be the Salvation Army who gives food and clothing to people who need it. The Style in Hawthornes Young Goodman Brown :: Young Goodman Brown YGB

The Style in â€Å"Young Goodman Brown†Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚        Ã‚  Ã‚   Nathaniel Hawthorne’s short story or tale, â€Å"Young Goodman Brown,† is an interesting example of the multi-faceted style of the author, which will be discussed in this essay.    Edgar Allan Poe in â€Å"Twice-Told Tales - A Review,† which appeared in Graham's Magazine in May, 1842, comments on Hawthorne’s â€Å"originality,† and â€Å"tranquil and subdued manner† which characterize his style:    The Essays of Hawthorne have much of the character of Irving, with more of originality, and less of finish; while, compared with the Spectator, they have a vast superiority at all points. The Spectator, Mr. Irving, and Mr. Hawthorne have in common that tranquil and subdued manner which we have chosen to denominate repose. . . . In the essays before us the absence of effort is too obvious to be mistaken, and a strong undercurrent of suggestion runs continuously beneath the upper stream of the tranquil thesis. In short, these effusions of Mr. Hawthorne are the product of a truly imaginative intellect, restrained, and in some measure repressed, by fastidiousness of taste, by constitutional melancholy and by indolence.    Peter Conn in â€Å"Finding a Voice in an New Nation† discloses a characteristic of Hawthorne’s tyle with regard to his short stories: â€Å"Almost all of Hawthorne’s finest stories are remote in time or place† (82). Nathaniel Hawthorne’s tale â€Å"Young Goodman Brown† is no exception to this rule, being placed in historic Salem, Massachusetts, back in the 1600’s.    Herman Melville in â€Å"Hawthorne and His Mosses,† (in The Literary World August 17, 24, 1850) has a noteworthy comment on Hawthorne’s style:    Nathaniel Hawthorne is a man, as yet, almost utterly mistaken among men. Here and there, in some quiet arm-chair in the noisy town, or some deep nook among the noiseless mountains, he may be appreciated for something of what he is. But unlike Shakespeare, who was forced to the contrary course by circumstances, Hawthorne (either from simple disinclination, or else from inaptitude) refrains from all the popularizing noise and show of broad farce, and blood-besmeared tragedy; content with the still, rich utterances of a great intellect in repose, and which sends few thoughts into circulation, except they be arterialized at his large warm lungs, and expanded in his honest heart.    How beautifully does this critic capture the basic attitude of Hawthorne, who avoids the â€Å"noise and show† and emphasizes his â€Å"rich utterances.

At first glance, these two historical figures could not seem more distant. Mohandas Gandhi campaigned a universal and tolerant version of religion and upheld these beliefs through his political movement. In contrast, Osama bin Laden has been credited for creating an antagonistic and combative interpretation of traditional Islam that led to some of the most gruesome acts of terror observed in the twenty first century. Although both of their ideals stand on opposite ends of the spectrum, they both achieved an influential status as religious and political leaders. Both can be credited for provoking thousands of people to act on their behalf. Although their ideologies were vastly different, these two men can both be regarded as religious extremists who made strides within their own political agendas.
